Parents
Parents and guardians are a vital part of the Gifford community. The involvement and support of a student's family is essential to her or his success at Gifford.
Reinforcing study habits, collaborating regarding recommendations, and regular consultations and meetings are just some of the ways parents and guardians assist with their child's progress.
Each student is assigned a staff monitor who helps to facilitate communication between the school and the student's parent or guardian.
Additionally, parents and guardians are encouraged to join PAC (Parent Advisory Council), participate in parent groups, and attend Back to School Night and the parent-staff potluck suppers. They also play a major role in the success of our annual yard sale.
Gifford publishes a parent handbook annually, which is supplied at admission or by request, to guide parents through a child's experiences at Gifford.
