Parents & guardians are a vital part of the Gifford community. The involvement and support of a student's family is essential to her or his success at Gifford. Reinforcing study habits, collaborating regarding recommendations, and regular consultations and meetings are just some of the ways parents & guardians assist with their child's progress. Additionally, they are encouraged to join PAC (Parent Advisory Committee), participate in parent workshops and support groups, and attend Back to School Night and Parent-Staff Potluck Suppers. Parents & guardians also play a major role in the success of our annual Yard Sale.

Gifford also publishes an annual Parent Handbook, available upon request, to guide parents through a child's experience at Gifford.
