World of Difference Week Gifford takes part in the national World of Difference Week in an effort to promote awareness, raise sensitivity, and celebrate diversity. World of Difference Week includes thoughtful and absorbing classroom discussions, essays, and poetry. Staff and students express differences in many artistic forms, including an inspiring performance of a student play. A pledge is also signed by students and staff to foster and support diversity in all its forms.
Articulated in our Statement of Multicultural Competence, Gifford strives to promote diversity and acceptance in all apsects of its program.
