Staff
Working with our population of over 100 students is our staff of administrators, academic and vocational teachers, specialty area teachers, assistant teachers, and an interdisciplinary staff, including a nurse, an educational psychologist, a psychiatrist, clinicians, a speech and language consultant, and a reading specialist. Coming from graduate schools such as Boston College, Boston University, Northeastern University, Simmons College, Lesley College, Regis College, and the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, clinical interns are also a strong component of our staffing pattern. Gifford also has an affiliation with The Brookline Center, whose clinicians offer onsite clinical services.
Gifford teachers and staff are responsive to the needs of each student. At the same time, they maintain expectations that recognize and challenge the individual.
