- The Gifford School has made the decision to implement a hybrid learning model to start the school year.
- Students will alternate between in-person and remote learning depending on their assignment to a distinct cohort. The Gifford School has determined that cohorts will attend in person two consecutive days (M/T & W/TH) with alternating Fridays for our Middle and High School Students.
- With DESE’s emphasis on a return to in-person learning for students in grades K-5 combined with other factors, The Gifford School will provide a fully on-campus program for our Lower School students with the exception for those students whose families elect for a fully remote program.
- We will communicate your student’s specific cohort to you by August 21st.
- In the meantime, we are requesting that each family declare their intention to either:
- send your student to school to receive in-person instruction with their cohort as part of the hybrid model; or
- have your student remain at home and receive all instruction remotely as described in the hybrid model.
