On July 1st, Gifford welcomed its first four legged staff member to campus! Griffin is a four month old Bernedoodle that is in training to be a full time therapy dog here at Gifford. Bernedoodles are affectionate, playful and have varying degrees of "hypoallergenic" coats. Griffin was thoughtfully paired with us for his temperament and coat to decrease any chance of students with allergies having a reaction.

Though he is already a natural at bringing joy to those he meets, he is not quite ready to be working with students yet. As part of Griffin's training, he will be on campus for the month of July to get to know the environment, learn his role, and begin to feel at home. Students can certainly say hello when they see Griffin on campus, but he will not be working directly with

students just yet. Welcome to the Gifford community, Griffin! You are already amazing!
